Having an Estate Sale

Once you've decided to have a sale there are several things you should do.

  • Decided which items, if any, you want to keep, and we'll come in and take care of the rest. If you are unable to make immediate arrangements to have larger items removed before the sale, we'll close off one room for 'Family."

  • Get it in writing - We'll provide an easy-to-read contract that spells out exactly what services we will provide, when the sale will take place, how much commission is charged, and what happens to the leftover property. That way, there won't be any surprises or unexpected expenses.

  • We'll happily provide references to set your mind at ease. Look at our 'Sales' page to see our most recent sales and we'll put you in contact with any of our former clients.

  • Try not to be stressed. For us, this is a procedure. Let us do the work! Whether you're in Hancock or Honolulu, we'll work with you to make the process as stress-free as possible. That means answering your questions and addressing your concerns. You can call or email us anytime .

  • No, it isn't necessary that you be present for the sale - In fact, it's usually better if you're not. Most people aren't comfortable selling and haggling over loved one's possessions; others simply don't have the time or desire.
